How has the modelling and fashion industry changed, in your opinion, since you started?

I feel as though it has become more inclusive of various body types, looks, and races. Overall it is very different from the way the industry was in the past. I have seen people represented from all walks of life in fashion ads. It's beautiful because fashion is a universal language we all speak.

What was the modelling job you have been most excited to do and why?

I would have to say the Swimsuits For All campaign I did in Anguilla. It was amazing to be around others in the industry that reflect the same message I represent. Many of us have been internet friends in the industry for years, so it was cool to actually meet in person.

"My one piece of advice for aspiring models is to be kind to everyone on set." - Kelvin Davis

Are you someone who does New Years resolutions and if so, what are they?

Yes, I do. But mine are always focused on how I can be better mentally rather than physically. How I can love better, be more empathetic & nurture the soul I have.

A few of mine for 2023 are to make decisions that benefit my mental health, spend more time with my loved ones, be less active on the internet and more active in real life, to let go of my ego in certain circumstances and lastly to buy a house!

What is your go to quote for embracing body positivity?

My go-to quote would be "Body positivity is for everyone, every race, gender, age & body type. It's not exclusive to anyone, this movement is inclusive to all and always will be."

What is your top tip for guys struggling with their fashion sense and not feeling confident?

My top tip would be to find the thing that works for you. Some guys are accessory type of guys and they don't even know it. So, I encourage men to try different things, not to worry about what the societal "ideal" standard for masculinity is.

Define who you are as a man and dress the way you want the world to see you. Clothing is the medium and our bodies are the blank canvas, we create a masterpiece everyday when we get dressed.

So, be you, love who you are & always be kind to others in the process.

Which celebrity or public figure is killing it with their fashion sense and style at the moment?

I have always been a fan of Idris Elba and his style. He is sleek, confident, dresses to impress & makes it all look effortless. But I also love the ground breaking outfits of Harry Styles, I love how he embraces color and texture. It's a vibe for me.

Finally, with our many years of experience in the modelling industry, what is a piece of advice you would give to someone starting out?

My one piece of advice is to be kind to everyone on set. Be personable, engage with them and show your light. Let the light inside of you shine brighter than the light that is shining on you.
